What is this?
Anti-rain film is a special coating based on silicon, polymers and organic substances for vehicles. It repels water forms on the glass. In the case of motorcycles, the windshield and helmet visor are treated with hydrophobic agents.
Features of anti-rain film:
- Even heavy rain does not form a jet on the glass, water collects in drops that are easily blown away by the wind,
- At a speed of 40 km per hour, the water is blown away by the wind, which means that the visibility will remain at the same level,
- There will be no dirt on the glass after the rain, as it is blown away by the wind along with the water,
- Anti-rain coating does not affect the light transmission capacity and light reflection — the optical properties of the glass remain unchanged,
- In contrast to tinting, anti-rain is allowed to use by law, you do not face stops and fines from traffic police officers.
The duration of anti-rain depends on the type of composition and manufacturer. It usually lasts for several months. Before applying anti-rain film, the glass must be thoroughly cleaned. The anti-rain composition is applied with wide polishing movements with a dry cloth. If it is necessary the procedure is repeated 2-3 times. Anti-rain film does not require special care – just wipe it with a damp cloth or wash it under running water.
