Replacement of headlights for Mercedes S-class W222
The headlights have three led strips-now the flagship sedan is a little easier to recognize in the stream.
Adaptive multibeam headlights with automatic dimming of individual sections when approaching an oncoming car (Intelligent Light System) and an Ultra Range long-range beam that provides a luminous flux of more than one Lux at a distance of more than 650 m. Headlights and reverse lights shimmer at the moment of locking/unlocking the locks. A scattering of crystal sparks plays in the lanterns. Chrome decor connects the pipes.MULTIBEAM LED headlights have four control units that calculate the perfect light pattern at a frequency of 100 times per second.
The optimal range of headlights in high-beam mode is automatically provided by the adaptive high-beam control system Plus. When registering oncoming or moving cars in front of you, the high-beam module LEDs will be partially disabled so as not to blind others. The remaining sections of the roadway will continue to be partially illuminated by high beam. The driver can focus on traffic and avoid switching between modes.
As soon as the car recognizes that it is on a motorway, it automatically sets the optimal high-beam distribution for this situation. “Motorway” high beam reduces the risk of blinding drivers of oncoming trucks, allowing them to focus on their lane. In order to best illuminate even difficult-to-see pedestrian paths and high-risk areas, “city light” will provide the driver with a wide distribution of light when driving at low speeds and within lighted localities.
“Light for bad weather” reduces glare in the oncoming lane during rain, purposefully dimming the light of individual LEDs and actively countering indirect blinding of drivers in the oncoming lane. “MULTIBEAM LED” technology is a component of the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Drive concept and provides adequate light in almost any road situation-without the effect of blinding. Only original parts are used, so they are fully compatible and installed without problems and any risks. As a result, the body gets a body kit identical to the one that Mercedes factories put on the 2017 model.
